Inaugurado a 21 de abril de 1915, o Theatro Circo é um equipamento cultural histórico de Braga, promotor de uma oferta cultural diversa, abrangente e que procura responder à diversidade de públicos da cidade e da região. Após um intenso processo de recuperação que se prolongou por sete anos, reabriu em 2006, devolvendo a Braga uma sala de beleza e imponência invulgares.
Juntamente com mais três teatros portugueses e oito teatros espanhóis, em 2015 integrou a Rede Ibérica da Rota Europeia de Teatros Históricos.
Desde 2022, o Theatro Circo integra a Rede de Teatros e Cineteatros Portugueses (RTCP) e, desde 2024, faz parte da Rede de Teatros com Programação Acessível.

Inaugurated on 21 April 1915, Theatro Circo is one of Braga’s historic cultural landmarks, promoting a diverse and wide-ranging cultural programme that seeks to respond to the variety of audiences in the city and the region.
After an extensive restoration process lasting seven years, it reopened in 2006, restoring to Braga a venue of remarkable beauty and grandeur.
In 2015, together with three other Portuguese theatres and eight Spanish theatres, it joined the Iberian Network of the European Route of Historic Theatres.
Since 2022, Theatro Circo has been part of the Portuguese Network of Theatres and Cine-Theatres (RTCP) and, since 2024, it has also integrated the Network of Theatres with Accessible Programming.

Em dias de espetáculo a bilheteira abre uma hora antes e encerra 30 minutos após o início do espetáculo.
Tuesday to Saturday: 11 am • 7 pm
Sundays and public holidays: Closed
On performance days, the box office opens one hour before the show and closes 30 minutes after it begins.
