“A Vulgar Mulher Extraordinária” é um espetáculo de A Garota Não, com apenas duas apresentações ao vivo — uma no Theatro Circo e outra no Centro Cultural de Belém.
Na noite em que o Theatro Circo celebra 111 anos, A Garota Não apresenta esta criação que é uma profunda homenagem ao universo feminino. Partindo de uma figura singular — a sua mãe — constrói uma biografia coletiva que atravessa as vidas de mulheres anónimas, amigas e familiares. É uma ode que questiona dogmas sociais e o peso injusto que o feminino carrega, celebrando a força e a resiliência daquelas que “revolvem os dias a cuidar mais dos outros do que de si”.
Mais do que um concerto, trata-se de um ensaio poético e político sobre medos, batalhas internas e a necessidade de preservar a memória destas mulheres extraordinárias.

“A Vulgar Mulher Extraordinária” is a new creation by A Garota Não, with only two live performances — one at Theatro Circo and the other at Centro Cultural de Belém.
On the night of Theatro Circo’s 111th anniversary, A Garota Não unveils this work as a profound tribute to the feminine universe. Starting from a singular figure — her mother — she builds a collective biography that crosses the lives of anonymous women, friends and family members. It is an ode that questions social dogmas and the unfair weight carried by the feminine, celebrating the strength and resilience of those who “spend their days caring more for others than for themselves”.
More than a concert, this is a poetic and political reflection on fears, inner battles and the urgent need to preserve the memory of these extraordinary women.
