A Winged Victory for the Sullen regressa a Braga após o concerto no gnration em 2015. O projeto, que nasceu de um encontro fortuito em Itália entre os compositores Adam Wiltzie e Dustin O’Halloran, transcendeu a intenção original de um álbum único para se tornar numa referência global na música ambient e minimalista.
Com um percurso pontuado por colaborações de prestígio, o duo traz na bagagem a densidade emocional de obras como 'Atomos' (2014), escrita para o coreógrafo Wayne McGregor, e a grandiosidade de 'Invisible Cities' (2021), uma banda sonora para uma obra multidisciplinar de Leo Warner e Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, baseada no livro de Italo Calvino. Após o sucesso da crítica especializada de 'The Undivided Five' (2019), que foi considerado pela NPR um dos discos mais belos da atualidade, a dupla regressa para mostrar o poder celestial e cinemático da sua música. Entre o minimalismo das composições para piano e a expansão das cordas, este concerto promete ser uma viagem espiritual e hipnótica, reafirmando por que continuam a ser figuras incontornáveis do catálogo das editoras Erased Tapes e da Ninja Tune.

A Winged Victory for the Sullen returns to Braga after their concert at gnration in 2015. The project, born from a chance meeting in Italy between composers Adam Wiltzie and Dustin O’Halloran, has grown beyond the intention of a single album to become a global reference in ambient and minimalist music.
With a trajectory marked by prestigious collaborations, the duo brings with them the emotional depth of works such as 'Atomos' (2014), written for choreographer Wayne McGregor, and the scale of 'Invisible Cities' (2021), a soundtrack for a multidisciplinary work by Leo Warner and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, based on the book by Italo Calvino. Following the critical acclaim of 'The Undivided Five' (2019), considered by NPR one of the most beautiful albums of its time, the duo returns to showcase the celestial and cinematic power of their music.
