O regresso de Lucrecia Dalt a Braga marca o encontro com uma das mentes mais fascinantes da música da atualidade. A artista colombiana, radicada em Berlim, consolidou o seu prestígio internacional com o aclamado '¡Ay!' (2022), considerado disco do ano pela ‘The Wire’, e com a composição de algumas bandas sonoras para a série 'The Baby' (2022) e o filme 'Rabbit Trap' (2025).
Neste concerto, Lucrecia Dalt apresenta o seu trabalho mais ambicioso e pessoal: 'A Danger to Ourselves' (2025), criado em colaboração com David Sylvian e com participações de Juana Molina, Camille Mandoki, do baixista Cyrus Campbell e do percussionista Alex Lázaro. Ao contrário dos discos anteriores como '¡Ay!' ou 'No era sólida' (2020) em que Lucrecia evocava histórias de personagens imaginárias ou literárias, neste novo álbum a colombiana afasta-se das narrativas fantásticas para explorar um lado mais pessoal. O ‘The Quietus’ elogiou a transição para um território mais íntimo e cinematográfico, descrevendo o disco como uma exploração corajosa da psique humana.

Lucrecia Dalt’s return to Braga marks the encounter with one of the most fascinating minds in contemporary music. The Colombian artist, based in Berlin, consolidated her international recognition with the acclaimed '¡Ay!' (2022), named album of the year by The Wire, and through composing soundtracks for the series 'The Baby' (2022) and the film 'Rabbit Trap' (2025).
In this concert, Lucrecia Dalt presents her most ambitious and personal work: 'A Danger to Ourselves' (2025), created in collaboration with David Sylvian and featuring contributions from Juana Molina, Camille Mandoki, bassist Cyrus Campbell and percussionist Alex Lázaro. Unlike previous albums such as '¡Ay!' or 'No era sólida' (2020), where she evoked stories of imaginary or literary characters, in this new record the Colombian artist moves away from fictional narratives to explore a more personal dimension. The Quietus praised this shift towards a more intimate and cinematic territory, describing the album as a bold exploration of the human psyche.
